Lakeville based home builder M.W. Johnson has filed banko protection chapter 11 style. The builder still plans to operate, finish homes that have yet to be completed and work with creditors.

MW Johnson is one of the largest home builders in the state, along with operations in Florida and Wisconsin. The company is said to have over 1000 homes that are unsold sitting on the market. One of the excuses was overbuilding, no you think.

According to this article there must be some contractors that are barking mad out there that are still owed a couple of stacks from MW Johnson.
