Thinking about moving to Rosemount, here are some quick hitters you might want to think about before making that decision. Don’t worry, nothing bad of course

  1. Small Town Feel with a large urban atmosphere feel. Currently has 22,657 residents, watch the growth.
  2. Education is a top priority Most of the community is part of the award winning school district and has educational opportunities both public and private. One of the largest technical colleges in the state resides in Rosemount as well.
  3. Rosemount is growing New construction homes are still being built but definitely not at the torrid pace of years past. A new master planned community is working it’s way through planning, but still not a set timetable when it is expected to even pass. It might take 25-30 years to complete.
  4. Rosemount is being revitalized Areas of downtown Rosemount are taking on a new look. There is a revitalization going on although some might disagree, the project continues on and takes shape.
  5. Close to Minneapolis and St. Paul Rosemount is a close drive to the Twin Cities and airport.
  6. Lots of undeveloped land and wide open spaces make this a plus for many residents.
  7. Nobody Famous that I recognize according to Wikipedia

Have I forgotten anything?

Adding to the list:

The sound of trains that make their way to and from the refinery, but don’t have to worry about sound too much because there is a city ordinance that limits the madness.
