According to one study, Twin Cities still the best for business

Jobs might be down but Marketwatch released a survey and for the second year in a row, the Twin Cities region remains at the top for best places for buisness.

A couple of reasons why the Twin Cities did so well according to the survey:

  • The area is thrives for small businesses
  • Large firms stay local
  • Job creation and relative low unemployment (although growing, don’t know when survey was taken)
  • Public and Private firms with salwes of more than $10 billion
  • Good schools and talent tends to stay
