Ever heard of Walkscore? It is a very simple tool that lets a user scale the “walkability” of house in juncture to local amenities like dining, shopping, etc. I have had it set up on Living Twin Cities on a resource page so users can find the walkscore of Twin Cities homes.

One might ask why would someone want to do this? The concept is pretty simple, say someone is interested in a house whether urban or suburban, they can get a quick idea on all the surrounding amenities and how far away they are from the house.

Now you can search for homes by walkscore thanks to Diverse Solutions. They are always on top of their game by delivering “bleeding edge” technology to help the consumer home search.

Kick off the walkscore home search

How to use the search

1. Search for homes on the left side bar by Walkscore (you don’t have to use it, either way it will pull up on the property that you are interested in)

2. In the results page of the home search, you can see the walkscore along with other property information in the top right corner.

3. Pull up the Walkscore Tile to see a list of amenities close to the home.

Try it out by searching for homes in the Twin Cities by Walkscore.
