A website that I had stumbled across about a month back is called Hunch. A new mashup that helps users make decisions based on a collective user base. I can see the possibilities of Hunch and how it can be used for online real estate.

What is Hunch:

Hunch helps you make decisions and gets smarter the more you use it.

Simply ask it a question and based on your responses, it tells you what you should do. So if you don’t trust yourself or the other guy, why don’t you get another opinion on the matter.

The website gathers information from it’s current users and over time, the topics will definitely grow.

How can you use this in the home buying or selling process? Ask it questions based on ’should I buy a home‘ or ‘should I invest in real estate‘. Over time, you should be able to get answers for just about anything.

I asked it a simple question ‘should I buy a foreclosed home‘?

Play along with the question and try it out for yourself!
