Zillow makes data fun for once. Interactive data graphs for the geeks in all of us.

Here are Minneapolis home values:

Another one looking at % sold for a loss:

Play around with the interactive graphs here for a deeper look into the neighborhood level.

It still surprises me anyone goes by anything Zillow says. All you have to do is look at these graphs and realize something isn’t right.

Zillow has picked up where the real estate industry hasn’t necessarily gone for the consumer. Providing data.

The second one is all over the place because of % of homes sold for a loss on a neighborhood level.

I don’t follow the Zestimate, everyone knows those are junk.
