Linkage to feed your need from the past week:
- Yeah, I’d live in it.
- Check it, the former home of the Detroit Lions, the Silverdome sells for a measly $583k. I’m sure there are 500+ homes in the Twin Cities metro area with a price tag higher than a stadium.
- A few days ago I posted a few links about the recovery not happening for awhile with foreclosures and here is Bloomberg’s take. Watch out for the near term real estate set backs as well.
- Nobody ever said Extreme Home Makeover wasn’t a good cause, the people that win the houses are more than deserving. I’ve been saying for awhile that most homes that they build are impractical, over built for the neighborhood and the room designs fit one persons purpose. These homes are too extreme to sell.
- In a national spotlight, developers are turning luxury condos over to auctions in an effort to get them sold. Never really witnessed much of that in the Twin Cities market, only a few projects went to the auction blocks.
- Housing starts post a sharp decline in October.
