Here is a list of the ten most expensive homes sold in November for Twin Cities luxury real estate. There were 8 less homes sold in the upper bracket sector of the market this month compared to last. Twenty four homes sold in the month of November.

The first time since I have been putting this list together, the most expensive home sold was a condo and there was an equestrian horse farm that made the top ten. The Edina Westin Galleria Hotel & Residences Luxury Condominiums had a total a five homes sold over a million dollars.

Now you can search for Twin Cities homes for sale right here on Living Twin Cities. I know, right… about time. The real estate search is an important one and doing so, Diverse Solutions provides the best search experience possible when going about searching for a home. Robert Luna quickly helped me identify why this would be so helpful.

There is so much you can do with interface. First off, the search is blazing fast. Use the map base search to easily scroll over the homes and pull up quick information. Then click on the homes to pull up full details on the property.

Print of a PDF for a flyer on the go, subscribe to listings in RSS and Live Chat (when available or drop a message if not). Interested in a certain area, neighborhood information is also available. Can’t figure out what’s kind of amenities there are? There is a search box that allows you to pull up the nearest ‘anything’. Can’t forget about schools either,

Wondering what the payments might come out to be? There is a mortgage calculator that will figure that out for you and take it a step farther with Zillow by pulling up a Zestimate.

Oh and how could I forget the best feature of all, Google Street View is also integrated into the search. It’s all there for you.

Twin Cities Market Update

2% decline in houses on the market since last year at the same time. Pending sales slightly ahead of last year. 27.5% of these houses where completed by a financial institution meaning a short sale or REO property. Pending sales over three months is down compared to last year at this time. The number of new listings is down almost 14% from same time last year.

Where are we going? Coldwell Banker distributes listings to GPS devices.

Notified earlier today by an update on Facebook, Coldwell Banker will be the first national real estate broker to distribute listings to a GPS. The company Dash Express is an internet connected GPS device that will allow users to upload the houses they want to see on the web. The listings will then sync automatically to download to GPS device.

The Dash Express is an open API which allows developers to develop all kinds of programs. Definitely the next step in GPS navigation and excited to see this in action.
