Lucky’s 13 Pub has got to be my favorite restaurant. Why? As soon as I walked in the door and had to wait five minutes, I was offered a beer for NO CHARGE.  Located in Mendota, it has easy access and close to the Minnesota River.

I have been there a few times, first for lunch when riding bike past on the trails.  Nothing like stopping on a hot day for a cold one after biking 20+ miles.  Then on Friday, revisited the place with my parents for dinner.

The atmosphere is great, whether you want to watch a game or catch up with some friends.  Good vibes all around.  The food is also worth the trip, nice menu with hand carved sandwiches to steaks and crab.

Oh and you know the establishment is good because it is owned by the Axel/Bonfire group.
